Young Love, A Wedding Inspiration In Georgia

  • Dec 17, 2016

The low country always shows off it’s charm through film photography as seen in today’s wedding inspiration by J. Leigh Captures.  With medium format film, Jessica captured wedding details designed by Tristnam Needham for the Better Together Workshop located in Savannah, Georgia.  A workshop that Dear Gray Magazine is so excited to be attending with host, The Happy Bloom, in January 2017!

Choosing details and designing a wedding can be so tough but with wedding inspirational shoots like this one, you get great ideas for seasonal colors and the styling of a local wedding.  There are so many options to choose from that hiring a wedding planner could be the key to your wedding success.  Take a look at the collaboration of many fine artists through the images below and see for yourself how seamless the colors and details compliment one another.

I love how subtly seasonal this shoot was.  From the color palette of the flowers, to subtle beige tone in the dress, to the color in the ribbon, Tristan created a design that allowed us to tell the story of a Savannah elopement, right on the cusp of fall – without using pumpkins and fake leaves. And finally, handsome groom details, often overlooked!  I loved the vision, curation of vendors, and romantic aesthetic of this shoot – hope you all enjoy it too!
