Relaxed and Refined, an Engagement Session

Photography by Trynh Photography

Santorini, the home of alluring sunsets, iconic white and blue cliff side homes and ancient charm. This Greek island has a special place in every travelers’ heart. Which is exactly why when this bride-to-be and wedding planner’s work brought her to Santorini she knew it would be the perfect destination for her own engagement session. Just before sunrise, hand in hand the engaged couple set out to wander among every picturesque cobblestone pathway they could find on a quest to venture up to the highest point for an incredible view out to the sea. As they sit alongside the cliff gazing into each others eyes you cannot help but to feel a sense of calm and relaxation that their relationship exudes.

From Jacqueline, the Bride

John and I met as complete strangers 9 years ago in Long Beach, CA and have shared many adventures together ever since. Over the years, we’ve grown so much as individuals and it’s such a blessing we’re able to share it and grow together. The proposal took place in Korea while I was on a special trip I planned with my mother. To my complete surprise the mother/daughter trip turned into an unexpected engagement with the love of my life.

More from Jacqueline…

As a wedding planner, I was very hesitant on having an engagement session as I would put my couples’ needs/wants in front of my own. Photographer, Trynh, and I had a creative project planned in Santorini, Greece and wanted to shoot our engagement session. I couldn’t turn down taking photos in one of the most magical places in the world. The session took place extremely early before sunrise, experiencing a type of beauty I will never forget. It was a very intimate morning for us exploring the village of Oia, Santorini. I’m so grateful Trynh pushed us out of our comfort zone, yet still made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera to document our love story
