Old World, Parisian Bridal Inspiration

Old World, Parisian Bridal Inspiration

Photography by Noi Tran Photography

Some of the most beautiful characteristics of working in the wedding industry can be attributed to the freedom of creativity.  There is no boundary to the extent of bridal design when working in a collaboration, as we can see in this Paris inspired shoot by Noi Tran Photography and her team.  Taking the surrounding grounds and vintage feeling she found at Old Edwards Inn, Noi envisioned an afternoon bridal party centered around a quaint tea party with touches of Parisian style.

Noi enlisted the wedding planning expertise of Whitewood Events to design and style an afternoon soiree that included the daintiest details that would flow within each wedding design element.  Beginning with a tea set from Vanessa of Vintage English Tea Cup and incorporating hand calligraphy on torn antique paper from Elisa Anne Calligraphy, the scene was set to introduce this bride, her groom, and bridesmaids to a private gathering in the courtyard.  Aside from the lush grounds of their location, floral designs from Ginger Rose kept true to the soft palette of the bridesmaids’ Jenny Yoo dresses and this bride’s lace adorned Ginny Gown by Chaiviano Couture.

The idea of having a bridal tea party, or more so, a bridal gathering came together when I sought out Old Edwards Inn as the perfect backdrop. Seeing how the venue offered the kind of charm and old world aura, I wanted to stick to vintage, romance and what gave me glimpses of Paris on a spring day. I imagined walking along Paris’ streets and waving to locals as they sat out sipping their tea and coffee, but with a wedding theme.

We incorporated a full tea set from Vanessa of Vintage English Tea Cup and the tea party was set to go. Another big inspiration was the bride’s hair and dress.  An elegant up-do that any sophisticated French lady would wear. It was absolutely necessary since our model wore the beautiful lace bolero jacket top over the Ginny Gown by Chaiviano Couture. This highlighted the lovely details of the lace gown; lace on lace! All the other lovely details were styled together by Whitney of Whitewood Events.
