We know, it’s Autumn! But a girl can step back and dream can’t she? Today’s feature is for all of our lovely brides who are planning a Spring wedding for 2018! We cannot get enough of the palette in this Oceanside, blush elopement inspiration designed by Stacey Foley Design for the Katie Nicolle Photography workshop in Oregon. Wedding photographer, Jessica Imrie, attended and chose to shoot all of the details in medium format film. The result? She sent us some of the most stunning, awe inspiring images with colors and tones that wedding photography dreams are made of. Add in a couture dress by our friend, Leanne Marshall and a floral design from Foraged Floral and this whole shoot becomes pin-worthy in an instant!
Can we pause and take a moment to absorb the details that have been put into this fascinating tablescape and custom designed wedding stationery? Rachel Jacobson, wedding calligrapher, chose a paper suite that would seamlessly contrast with the palette of this elopement’s details plus the oceanside location. Ornate decisions like the florals in her envelope choice, wrap right into the bride’s wedding bouquet and the deep wooden hues in this reception table from Something Borrowed. Incredible expertise in the attention to detail from this team!
So go ahead, pin away ladies and gents! This editorial is waiting to be used in your inspiration boards. A special thank you to Jessica Imrie Photography for sending in this feature. The West Coast will always have a piece of my heart which is why the Katie Nicolle Workshop hosted on the Oregon coast drew me in. I had long dreamed about wandering down Cannon Beach taking in its immensity; immersed in the sounds and sights only offered by the ocean and it did not disappoint. This workshop allowed me to explore the world of film which reignited my passion for photography. Shot primarily with Fuji400h the colours, textures and mood of this workshop were romantic, whimsical and dreamy beyond belief.
Tyson and Sydney are newlyweds which was evident through their embraces and natural chemistry. The beach offered a neutral background that allowed the blush Leanne Marshall gown to take centre as it was gently caressed by the wind and moved with Sydney every step. Cannon Beach’s signature enormous rocks offered protection from the wind and a textural backdrop to the gorgeous tablescape designed by Stacey Foley Design. The soft pink and peach palette was beautifully captured in the unkempt, wild, floral design by Foraged Floral. Organic elements including sea shells in the flat lay and place settings kept a cohesive feeling of an intimate beach wedding.
Join us as we step into an ethereal designed reception with our friend, Stacey Foley Design.

Workshops are such a wonderful opportunity to learn, try new things and step outside of your comfort zone. You can make mistakes and grow from them especially in an environment full of support. I’m so thankful for the new friendships formed and the wealth of information provided by Katie. Most of all I’m thankful for the confidence that I walked away with once it was time to return home.
