Lavender Fields Wedding Inspiration
Where do we begin with this one of a kind wedding inspiration shoot photographed by fine art wedding photographer, Mallory Haren? This stunning collaboration takes place among lavender fields drenched in warm, amber sunlight. What an absolute dream wedding setup! This team selected unique pieces, including a dress from The Dress Theory, design by Sarah Seven, and a ring from Trumpet and Horn, to show couples what an outdoor wedding can look like while still maintaining a couture vibe. Mallory and team (located at the end of this entry) kept true to the natural elements of this editorial by creating a consistent flow of organic elements from the bouquet, right into the cake design. This is the true definition of freedom to artistically design a couple’s wedding day. Mallory captured this editorial on medium format film with her Contax 645, allowing us to see the soft pastel tones and details within their setup as well as throughout the venue grounds.
From Mallory Haren
“As a fine art photographer, I have always been drawn to lavender and its beautiful aesthetic. Using lavender as the center focus of our shoot, we created a timeless wedding inspiration for any bride to swoon over. The romantic, off the shoulder wedding dress designed by Sarah Seven was exactly what we had envisioned for this setting. We paired the dress with beautiful loose florals by Jackie Miller of Penelope Pots Floral Design. Keys Creek Lavender Farm was the perfect location for us to use because of its quaint and natural charm. The beautiful golden light was shining perfectly over the hills behind the farm. We wanted to showcase how brides can simply choose natural landscaping and still create stunning imagery.”
