During her time in Italy, Esmeralda Franco attended the first international workshop hosted by, fine art photographers, Michael and Carina. With a dream team of wedding artists on board, the last shoot from the workshop was doused in boudoir loveliness. Esmeralda documented the storyline with medium format film using both C41 and Black and White. Creating a soft palette in her color images and classic grain in her black and white images, she used the knowledge from the workshop to narrate the story of a woman in her bare, confident moments. This enchanting boudoir session was designed by the lovely Federica of Honey & Cinnamon, one of Italy’s sought after wedding designers. Held at The Villa Centofinestre, Federica styled their boudoir model in handmade lingerie pieces by Girl With A Serious Dream and handmade headpieces by Enchanted Atelier by Liv Heart.
More From Esmeralda Franco Photography
This past August I got to attend Michael and Carina’s first international workshop in Italy. Federica, from Honey & Cinnamon, did an amazing job styling every shoot. On the last morning of the workshop we got to shoot this stunningly beautiful model (Adriana) on the property of The Villa Centofinestre. She wore lingerie pieces by Girl with A Serious Dream and delicate headpieces by Enchanted Atelier by Liv Hart.
As a photographer, I love shooting intimate boudoir sessions on film to accentuate the romance of being a woman, through soft organic portraits. Shooting medium format allows me to slow down the session, giving the client moments to pause and relax and ultimately translates into my work.
