What could be more romantic than a quaint morning wedding, surrounded by close friends and family to celebrate with over a breakfast reception? Andy and Anna Laurin’s wedding morning started at the early hours and the couple exchanged vows in a small church located in Ocean Springs as their closest loved ones showered them with love from the dark wooden pews. Soft floral tones, designed by one of Dear Gray Magazine’s partners’s, The Petaler Co., exuded the grace and purity that could be found at the heart of this union. Small hints of herbs, that represented Anna Laurin’s nutritionist occupation, could be found throughout the designs as well! Included in the personal touches is the dress that she wore, once her mother’s, altered to fit her on her own wedding day. We just love the simplicity of Anna Laurin’s wedding design.

Andy and Anna Laurin’s wedding day started around 7AM as the rising sun peeked through oak leaves. Everything was quiet and waking up except for Anna Laurin as she got ready with just her mom in the back of First Presbyterian of Ocean Springs. What followed was an intimate affair filled to the brim with meaning. Andy and Anna Laurin’s simple and tasteful style translated well throughout the day- from the beautiful stringed ceremony music by Atkinson Duo, to their favorite, local donuts that made up their cake, to the herbs included in the florals that pointed to Anna Laurin’s occupation as a nutritionist- there wasn’t a detail that didn’t have meaning. Breakfast and coffee was served during the reception as the couple made their way to each table to greet their guests. Not too long after this, the party made a natural descent into goodbyes and Andy and Anna Laurin took leave as their guests celebrated with lavender and hugs.
